STUN camp - BBCUTE
STUN camp est un évènement trans-européen annuel qui mélange les acteurs du changement, les bricoleurs, les cerveaux et les militants à imaginer, créer et célébrer ensemble. Pour l'édition de lancement de 2019, l'association d'occupation temporaire Yes We Camp a accueilli le STUN camp sur l'un de ses sites à Paris : Vive Les Groues
Nous pensons que la pratique de l'occupation temporaire consiste à créer des espaces visionnaires dans des lieux inattendus. Chaque site vide représente une opportunité pour développer de nouvelles pratiques, de nouveaux usages, de nouvelles collaborations. Nous visons l'utopie.
STUN camp is a yearly, trans-European melting pot inviting actors of change, DIYers, masterminds and activists to imagine, create and celebrate together.
​For the launching edition of 2019, temporary use organisation Yes We Camp open the doors to one of their sites in Paris, ''Vive Les Groues'' in Nanterre.
We believe that the practice of temporary use consists of creating visionary spaces in unexpected places. Each empty site represents an opportunity to develop new practices, new usages, new collaborations. We aim for utopia.
Le BBCUTE / The BBCUTE workshop
Ma mission pour le STUN camp était de concevoir, en amont, un BBQ déplaçable, modulable et protégé par un toit, puis d'animer un atelier de fabrication participative du BBCUTE pendant le camp.
Pendant l'atelier de construction une dizaine de personne on été initiées à la soudure, Deux BBCUTES on été fabriqués. Deux initiés ont par la suite pris le relais pour continuer, de façon autonomes, les initiations à la soudure et la construction du troisième BBCUTE.
Pendant le STUN camp le programme était conçu sur place par les participants, il y avait peu d'activités prévues en amont. Le BBCUTE était l'une d'elles, parmi le montage de la Yourte de PA de l'atelier IWOOD, la façade vitrée de Enricco Sacchi, la fête organisée par l'équipe de Danoise de Institut for X.
My mission for the STUN camp was first to design, upstream, a movable, modular BBQ protected by a roof, then to animate a participatory manufacturing workshop of the BBCUTE during the camp. During the construction workshop a dozen people were introduced to welding, Two BBCUTES were made. Two freshly initiates people then took over to continue, independently, the initiations to welding and the construction of the third BBCUTE.
During the STUN camp the program was designed on site by the participants, there was little activity planned upstream. The BBCUTE was one of them, among the assembly of the Yurt of PA from the IWOOD workshop, the glass facade of Enricco Sacchi, the party organized by the Danish team from Institut for X.
Le STUN camp au quotidien / The daily life at STUN camp
Le STUN camp a rassemblé une centaine de personnes venant de toute l'Europe, pour se rencontre, travailler, construire, réfléchir et s'amuser pendant 10 jours.
Les Stuners vivaient sur place pendant la durée du camp. Il y a avait la cuisine collective, les missions quotidiennes à partager, un planning d'activités à réfléchir ensemble... Et tous les Stuners dormaient au camp dans les différents types d'habitats légers présents et fabriqués sur place.
The STUN camp brought together a hundred people from all over Europe, to meet, work, build, think and have fun for 10 days.
The Stuners lived on site for the duration of the camp. There was collective cooking, daily missions to share, an activity schedule to think about together ... And all the Stuners slept in the camp in the different types of light habitats present and made on site.
